SFH East Surpasses Outlets Targets
Outlets are sales and distribution points of SFH brands.
In the districts of Ngoma, Kirehe, Kayonza, Gatsibo that form Eastern Region of SFH field operations, Dieudonne HAKIZIMANA the Region Team Leader reported recently that during the month of November whereas they targeted to create 18 new distribution outlets for HIV/AIDS products; Prudence and Plasir—six for Prudence and 6 for Plasir, the number was surpassed to 33—thus exceeding target by 107 per cent.
A total of 139 existing outlets were supervised.
For safe water, although 12 outlets were targeted for both P&G and Sur’Eau, nineteen were actually created. And the team managed to supervise 39 existing outlets. Outlets were created in the 4 districts to avail products to the community and also to improve the visibility and accessibility of the products. In addition, the already created Also, sessions of rapid promotion and MVU were conducted in districts of Kayonza, Rwamagana, Gatsibo and Kirehe, reported Dieudonne.
SFH East also engaged with Key Populations (KPs) in monthly meetings. In Rwamagana, a total of 9 and 10 trainees were Men having Sex with Men (MSM) and Female Sex Workers (FSWs) respectively. In Kayonza, 5 Motorists and 2 truck drivers benefitted the training too. In Gatsibo, 10 FSWs and 5 Motorists were trained.
