RALGA and Women for Women International are now potential partners of SFH-Rwanda
On Friday 7th November 2014, SFH Rwanda signed a Memorandum of Understanding with RALGA and Women for Women International. The ceremony took place at SFH-Rwanda HQs. The signed MoUs establishes a framework of collaboration between these organizations in the area of promoting healthier behavior amongst local communities through a social marketing approach. RALGA and WfWi were represented by Secretary General/RALGA, and Country Director/ WfWi.
Both of Mr Théogène KARAKE/ G.S-RALGA and Antoinette UWIMANA/CD-WfWi welcomed the step taken by establishing solid collaborative links with SFH through the signed MoUs. They affirmed that they have common interests in promoting social welfare. Mr. Théogène indicated that the new partnership will generate synergy of efforts towards positive change in the area of organization performance and achieving wider audience for both parties. Mrs. Antoinette assured SFH that WfWi is fully committed to play its role in the effective implementation of the MoU.
On his side, Mr Manasseh GIHANA WANDERA emphasized that the signing of these MoUs marks the establishment of a solid link between SFH and the two organizations in relation to their passion for high performance in delivering interventions that bring about a difference. He went on to thank both parties for the signing of the MoUs and added that, SFH-Rwanda looks forward to reaching large audiences through RALGA and WfWi networks which will help in promoting its products and services. He went on and reiterated SFH-Rwanda’s commitment to fulfill its responsibilities vis-à-vis the implementation of these MoUs. As a way forward, it is planned that technical staff from both parties start working on defining a joint action plan to be implemented in a while.
