The Rwanda Social Marketing Program (RSMP)

The Rwanda Social Marketing Program (RSMP) is a Cooperative Agreement funded by USAID Rwanda since 2012. The goal of the program is to promote health through improved social and behavior communication and social marketing of health products by increasing availability and access to socially marketed products and increasing health promotion interventions through audience focused Social and Behavior Change Communication regarding HIV prevention, MCH, FP and Malaria so as improve the health of the vulnerable communities in Rwanda. The program also focuses on strengthening the capacity of SFH to provide sustainable, high impact health communication and social marketing interventions. In 2017, Breakthrough ACTION, a global USAID Activity implemented by Johns Hopkins Center for Communications Programs was embedded to strengthen capacity in Research and Social and Behavior Change.
