Society for Family Health (SFH), in partnership with Imbuto Foundation through the Baho Neza project, seeks to support the Government of Rwanda, to improve Universal Health Coverage through strengthening the capacity of health posts. This reinforces national efforts towards affordable, equitable, quality and accessible primary health care services at the lowest levels of the healthcare system. In line with the national targets of establishing a health post in every cell, SFH supported construction and equipment of health posts in Nyagatare, Gicumbi and Gisagara districts. These health posts follow the Public Private Community Partnership (PPCP) model, where the local government contracts a private nurse to manage the health post.
